R2-D2 Coca Cola Radio | |
Distributed in Japan as a limited-edition Coca-Cola premium, this figural R2-D2 radio has long been considered one of the toughest licensed Star Wars items ever produced. Its emblazoned with the Coca-Cola and Star Wars logos on the front of its middle "foot" and the front light blinks as it emits its radio sounds. To the left you can see the box which it came packaged in. In light of the recent barrage of Pepsi-affliated Star Wars products, its interesting to note the strong Lucasfilm-Coke relationship of the past, to which products such as this and the R2-D2-like "Cobot" attest. |
