Princess Leia Organa Large Size Action Figure
French toy licensee, Meccano, produced a pretty extensive line of Star Wars merchandise, including some 12" dolls. This is the first example I've seen of a boxed Meccano doll, so they must be fairly rare. Its probable that they weren't produced in huge numbers in the first place. As you can see, the primary feature that differentiates this piece from the standard U.S. Leia doll is that cool French logo, which appears under the photo on the box flap.

It's a must in this case to compare this production Leia doll with the somewhat crudely kit-bashed prototype that Meccano featured in some of its early advertisements.
