| Although quite a few of Takara's original Star Wars toy releases were wholly-original, having no American equivalents, they also issued many toys that were simply rehashes of Kenner U.S. product. This boxed 12" Luke is an example of the latter type.
The nameplate is particularly interesting. In place of the English words "Luke Skywalker," there is some foreign text, which, I assume, says the same thing in Japanese. |
