Blue Harvest Letterhead Stationery
While Lucasfilm was filming the then titled film, Revenge of the Jedi, the company shot on location under a false front, an upcoming horror film called Blue Harvest. The Blue Harvest gag went all out with the full range of film production items including a Crew Cap, T Shirt, Raincoat, Button, and even a Blue Harvest placard for crew members driving onto the set. This false identity for the film that would eventually become Return of the Jedi is so widely known today that ILM even did a Blue Harvest retro shirt in the mid 1990's for the Star Wars Special Edition movies.

This piece of original Blue Harvest letterhead stationery was used circa 1982 for creating memos and official-looking documentation to throw off the press that a Star Wars film was being made on location in the US. There is also an accompanying Blue Harvest envelope to go with this letterhead.

The biggest irony of the whole Blue Harvest facade is that the logo looks exactly those used for the other Star Wars films!
