| TFA El Capitan Theatre Pamphlet & Flyer | |
| Opened in May 1926 as "Hollywood's First Home of Spoken Drama" and operated by Buena Vista Theatres since the late 1980s, the El Capitan Theatre has become a focal point in Star Wars theatrical history since the franchise was purchased by Disney. This fold-out pamphlet and single sheet flyer were distributed to promote the theater's 7 week engagement of The Force Awakens. In addition to being available at the venue, the El Capitan often mails such pamphlets to previous customers to advertise upcoming special screenings and main releases. The flyer was more of a "point of sale" item handed out at the theater itself. Both publicize the film's prop and costume exhibit as well as a pre-screening "Laser Lightsaber Curtain Show." |
