| Han Solo Stormtrooper Hardcopy Photo Sample | |
| As part of Kenner’s re-launch of its Star Wars action figure line in 1995, Kenner offered a premium action figure partnered with Kellogg’s Froot Loops cereal. The character that was chosen for the mail-away offer was the never before offered Han Solo in Stormtrooper outfit, often felt as an omission in the vintage line to accompany the similar Luke Skywalker figure. Pictured is the original photo sample figure used for the box art. The figure is a hand poured resin hardcopy which was then hand painted and assembled. A small missing paint chip on the front of the left boot reveals the blue/grey resin used to create this piece. The production mail-away figure did not include a weapon as pictured. It is rumored that the Kellogg’s company insisted on a figure without a weapon. |
