| Ewok Musical Horn Unproduced Toy | |
| The Ewok Musical Horn is an unproduced toy from the vintage Kenner Ewoks line. The concept for this multi-colored, electronic toy was to simulate one of the instruments played by the Ewoks. Kids would press the buttons to play different notes, as opposed to actually blowing through the horn. One side of the horn features a sculpted image of an Ewok blowing a horn.
The first image shows the final paint master, paint swatch, and an unfinished prototype. The red paint swatch was used to match the colors in the factor against this paint master for the toy. This set also includes the artwork and layout board for the image that is attached to the bell of the horn. There are quite a few toy concepts from the Ewoks Cartoon line that were never released as interest in Star Wars was waning during the mid 1980s. This represents one example that went beyond concept sketches to actual finished prototypes. |
