| This is a Mexican bootleg of the Darth
Vader figure. It's based on the standard vintage Kenner mold. The figure is
completely unarticulated and unpainted. As with a lot of other Vader bootlegs
I have encountered the lightsaber is cast extended. At first glance it might
appear to be another boring bootleg. However, if you look at the next set of
photos you'll see why I think this is one of the coolest Vader bootlegs I've
ever seen.
That's right, this bad boy is cast completely in foam rubber. I swear if this were to fall it would bounce right back up. Years ago I saw photos of a Ben Kenobi bootlegged in the same manner. To put it simply, this thing rocks. |
