Concept Model for Large-Size Boba Fett Action Figure (Kenner File Photo)
This photo, from the 1979 Toy Fair catalog published by Irwin Toys, shows the conceptual model representing the large-size Boba Fett action figure. This was the earliest three-dimensional prototype for the figure. At the time it was made, the product included a range of features that didn't carry over to the produced toy, such as a firing rocket and electronics.

See here for a later prototype, one much closer to the finished toy, but apparently retaining the cancelled features. See here for an internal Kenner "spec sheet" devoted to the figure, which provides additional information regarding its planned features.

As discussed here, the presence of a photo of this model on Kenner store displays intended to promote the small-size action figure suggests that the model for the large-size figure predates its smaller counterpart.

As of 2025, the model has not been located by collectors.
