| Kenner 69006 Header Store Display - Space Battle Artwork | |
| Though Kenner's 1984 Toy Fair catalog claims this large illustrated display measures 48" x 28", it's actually more like 45" x 24". It was designed for the top of a store shelving unit. It would have included mounting hardware for attachment by the two protruding sections. The artwork is beautiful and showcases the six ships that were part of Kenner's large-size ship fleet at the time. The display is identical front and back.
It's very possible that a large piece of Kenner-generated artwork depicting a battle on Endor was originally intended to adorn one side of this display. See here for more information. |
