Kenner 69264 Yoda Graphic Store Display (Vacuformed) | |
This was a Kenner store display during the ESB promotion. It is made of vacu-form plastic and measures around 3 ft. tall. This is a really neat piece because it's a 3-D display of sorts. By this I mean that Yoda is raised off the background and is "textured". There is a cardboard insert at the bottom (inside) where the mounting hardware would have attached. The display is identical on both sides and the Kenner logo can be found in small text by the feet.
At least some of these displays were produced with some of the open spaces within the letters of the ESB logo filled in, but so far these are known only through period photos; as far as I know, none are in collector hands. According to Kenner documentation, around 2,000 of these displays were produced. |
