Kenner 69185 Toy Center Mobile Store Display | |
This is a hanging Kenner display piece made of thick, but not corrugated cardboard. Both sides are identical so that when hung on a string, by the hole at the top, the display could spin. It measures approximately 16" x 18" and has a space battle scene in the background which is modified from Lucasfilm photos. It was a generic sign advertising Star Wars toys as a whole. It is identical to the Toy Galaxy hanger in all qualities aside from the text.
This item replaced the earlier Toy Galaxy mobile, but retained its stock number. Both displays reused the stock number of the earlier Toy Galaxy hang/pole display. According to Kenner documentation, 3000 of these displays were produced in 1979. |
