Unproduced Toys

These pieces deal with toys that were conceived, but never released, by Kenner. It's always fascinating to see some of the things that, for any number of reasons, never got off the ground. These prototypes have been found in various stages of development. Original wax sculpts of unproduced figures are few and far between, though it would be an incredible experience to have one of these surface from the darkened regions of a collection or musty basement. It is more likely that unproduced figures will be in the hardcopy phase. These can be painted, unpainted, assembled or unassembled examples. Some unproduced figures can be found in much later stages of development and are almost identical to production-run figures. Many of the special weapons or accessories for these figures can be found in likewise conditions.
