Conveyor-Belt Bridge
Materials 1/2"x12"x48" plywood; 1/4"x5/8"x4" pine lattice; 3/4"x7 1/2" (1x8)x18" pine; 3/8-diam.x18" dowel; 18"x24" plastic-laminate (see General Directions); 4"x44 1/4" piece of canvas; 1 can of spray aluminum paint; eight 1/4"-wide rubber bands or 1 sheet of 80-grit sandpaper (to drive wheels if required).
Cut inner parts and assemble with screws as shown. Make canvas belt to fit, then glue treads in place with contact cement which may also be used to hold overlapped ends. Test-fit belt before adding treads.
Cut sides and stretcher blocks. Cover one side of each with laminate. Drill hole for axle in outer side. Attach parts to inner assembly. Spray-paint treads.
