Dave Prowse had a long and accomplished acting career: not only was he the muscley manservant in A Clockwork Orange and the physical presence of Darth Vader, he was the Green Cross Man, perhaps the only super hero ever tasked with the responsibility of keeping the crosswalks of the world safe from reckless drivers. From Dark Lord of the Sith to a spokesman for pedestrian safety, oh how the mighty have fallen. I love how Prowse is shown dynamically looking both ways before crossing the street. And, as Chris Harper astutely points out, these drawings make Prowse look a bit like Sylvester Stallone.
Laugh at if you must, but if it weren't for the Green Cross Man, chances are a truck would have run you over years ago.
