This is a fairly early ad from toy licensee Palitoy, promoting the original 12 Star Wars action figures. However, only six of the original dozen figures are depicted. What I find most amazing about this ad are those weird "wiggle lines," which, I take it, are meant to make the figures look as though they're literally vibrating with excitement. Or maybe they were conceived as the world's first set of epileptic toys.
I also find it humorous that the saber sported by the Luke figure is depicted as being considerably less stout than the one carried by Ben. I can almost hear Luke saying "I can see your schwartz is much bigger than mine." (If you haven't seen Space Balls, forget you read that.)
