In my opinion, this sketch representing a coin for Gargan--a character of which no coins or figures were ever produced--is the most interesting of the sketches we're featuring here. It's important since it allows us to date the development of the Gargan figure. Many of these sketches are marked with dates from the year 1984, and it's a safe bet that this one is coeval with them. This indicates that Gargan was likely planned for a first-wave release in the Power of the Force line, not in a never-released second wave, as has often been speculated.
