Stormtrooper Armor Closeup: The fibreglass Stormtrooper armour was created using one of the original moulds, as used to make the armour for actors in A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. This set was created and painted in Tasmainia, Australia, by Steve Johnson. Steve was employed by Estree Studios while scenes of The Empire Strikes Back were being filmed. Steve moved to Australia and took the moulds (or original suit) with him so he could make a few more complete suits. The one pictured here was a result.
