Prototype Boxes for Empire Dolls: Plans to continue the large action figure, or doll, line were well underway in 1980 and many boxes were printed up in order to better visualize the final product. Here are three classic examples of characters from The Empire Strikes Back. These things have never been assembled, thus are perfectly flat. Many of the ESB prototype dolls are known to be in private collections as well as boxes for these and other dolls bearing the ESB logo.
