Ewok Combat Glider Box Flats and Proofs: Box Flats are, for the most part, unfolded production boxes. There are at least a few different reasons flats were used though. Some were early samples just to test the look of the boxes once cut and ready to be used while others were Quality Control samples to make sure all was up to standards. I've even seen some flats that used a different cardboard color and stock than production, which may have been a test to see which worked better for either durability or for holding the ink color.

What we see pictured is an assortment of Ewok Combat Glider box flats. The flat in the very front is a standard unused box. The other boxes however have all been used to some capacity in pre-production. As you can see all are dated and initialed, some are a different kind of cardboard, and one is even stamped proof. Box flats have long been a favorite of prototype collectors that are fans of the Kenner design style and this collection of flats is a definite joy to see.

Finally, we have a shot of the series of Ewok Combat Glider pieces that Zac has assembled. These pieces include examples of several stages in the process used to create the vehicle. Shown are some of the original pieces of photoart for the back of the box, a color key, a proof sheet, various box flat samples and proofs, an Engineering Pilot, a production boxed glider, and included in the series, but not pictured, is a first shot.
