Micro Collection C-3PO Figure with Attached Mold Runner: This is a pretty interesting artifact of the Micro Collection production process. Those cylindrical metal forms you see attached to the severed feet of this C-3PO figure (from the Millennium Falcon playset) are the remnants of the metal material the figure was "shot" in. Obviously, this metal hardened in the "runner" conveying it into the mold cavity. It's odd to me that something like this was ever saved, but it's nice that it was, because it hints at some of the less thought-about aspects of their mass-production.
