Hand Painted Micro Collection Boba Fett Figure: As you can see, the Micro Collection Boba Fett figure on the right of the above photo is painted in a color of blue considerably darker than that of its production counterpart at left (shown within a factory baggie). The darker figure was obtained from a former Kenner salesman, who himself probably took the figure from the annual Toy Fair event in New York City. Interestingly, the darker color of the figure conforms closely to the coloration of the 4-up paint masters that have surfaced of this particular figure, a similarity which indicates that the figure was initially planned to be painted in a slightly darker shade of blue than it actually was once it was put into full mass-production.

Of course, one should be extremely cautious when purchasing such an item, as it would not be difficult for someone to find an unpainted example of the figure and paint it himself in any color he wished. This particular figure I identified myself and bought first hand from the original source.
