Micro Collection Early 1:1 Paint Sample: This is one of the most interesting Micro Collection pieces I've seen. The figure itself is an early production sample sent back to Kenner in order to gauge the effectiveness of the technique used to create the Micro Collection figures. This particular Luke figure was never released in this form; rather, it was completely resculpted.

What makes this example of the early Luke figure so interesting is that it is painted. All the examples I have seen have been entirely undecorated. Considering that these Luke figures represent the first production samples received by Kenner for the Micro line, its reasonable to assume that this piece is one of the earliest production-scale paint samples made for the Micro Collection. Pretty neat.
