Hoth Bacta Chamber Packaging Photography: This image, reproduced from a Kenner negative, would have adorned the Hoth Bacta Chamber box had the playset gone into production. As you can see, the playset was done on a rather small scale, including with it four figures, in contrast to the six which were to have come with its companion playset, the Bespin Torture Chamber. The figures are fully painted and appear just as their regularly-released counterparts do in terms of overall quality and refinement of detail. When the only known example of this playset came up for sale in the late-80's, three of the figures (perhaps the ones in this photo) were included with it, and remain in the hands of the buyer to this day. They are some of the very few examples we have of fully-painted figures from this playset.
Kenner file photography like this just never ceases to amaze, and it remains a largely unexplored area of collecting to this day.
