European Battle Damaged X-Wing Fighter: The Battle Damaged X-Wing Fighter produced during the ROTJ era for distribution in Europe. It was actually manufactured in Spain, but distributed by the various companies handling Star Wars toys throughout Europe (Palitoy, Meccano, Clipper, etc.) The box isn't a whole lot different from the American version. However, the Kenner logo is absent here, and the familiar ROTJ logo is printed in French. Also, it looks as though the "laser" light in the nose has been airbrushed out in the photo. The European version of the X-Wing fighter did not come with electronics as the U.S. toy did, and the R2-D2 button on its tail section was actually chromed instead of being painted silver.
