Canadian 12-Back Stormtrooper: The first Canadian 12-Backs were much like their American counterparts--their text was in English. But due to Canadian bi-lingual laws (a touchy issue in Canada), the following waves of 12-Back carded figures featured a French variation of the Star Wars logo prominently on their fronts. Subsequent Canadian-issue blister cards (the 20-backs, for instance), removed the French logo to their backs, where it was a little less obtrusive.

I really love the look of that big French logo. But, honestly, how many French Canadians do you think actually referred to the film as "La Guerre des Etoiles"? :^)
