Sears Canada ESB R2-D2 (with Periscope): The name stands out like a sore thumb. Then again so does General Veers. This figure was one of 4 special figures to be included in the 1980 series of Canadian multipacks as shown in this catalog page. Why the name was altered is a mystery since it is almost the same as the "Sensorscope" description we are all familiar with. Another interesting name difference in these Canadian figures is "Lobot (Lando's Aid)". Only the backer cards themselves could be trusted to accurately reflect the names because the catalogs only hinted at the descriptions of each.
