Canadian Cardboard Death Star: In the U.S. we tend to look at these cardboard Death Star playsets as out-of-the-ordinary. However, it's the U.S. version of the Death Star (the plastic one) that's unique, the cardboard one having been released in quite a few countries. Here you see the Canadian-issue version of the set. Notice that yellow sticker towards the upper left. It indicates that two Stormtrooper figures were included inside as bonuses. According to Canadian collector Scott Bradley, these special versions of the set were available in Canada exclusively through Sears. Although most were sold through the Sears catalog, some also seem to have made it into retail stores.
