Sgt. Vallot, of the Imperial Bomb Squad: This armor design in appeared in Marvel Comics issue #56, "Coffin in the Clouds". Penciller Walter Simonson resurrected early Joe Johnston Snowtrooper costume sketches as seen in the Empire Strikes Back Sketchbook for these specialized Imperial troopers. Simonson changewd the Japanese samurai-influenced faceplate design to the more familiar "breath screen" seen in the movie, so the perfect source figure for this customization is a Kenner Snowtrooper. (Astute fans will notice the Johnston helmet-face became the Biker Scout design for ROTJ).
