Carded Hungarian Luke and Boba Fett: Hungary was on of the several Eastern-European countries producing unlicensed Star Wars toys during the 1980s and, in terms of quality, the Hungarian figures are comparable to their Polish, Russian and Turkish counterparts...that is, they're pretty bad. As they were made using molds taken from actual Kenner figures, their appearance is very similar to those toys, even if the first things we notice about them are their aesthetic shortcomings.
The cards feature a uniform design of some photocopied graphics and Hungarian text and came in several different colors, including blue, green, red and brown. Each figure comes with a rather haphazardly-chosen weapon and, as with the carded Polish figures, the bubbles are not glued but rather stapled to the card. The figures themselves were made from a very brittle plastic and, suprisingly, were cast in two separate torso halves, a feature which the articulated Polish figures lack.
For the most part, these are pretty straight-forward bootlegs, though some differences between them and the Kenner line exist. Luke has a right hand, for instance, rather than a molded lightsaber hilt and the usually-gold C3PO has here turned silver.
