Original Wax Sculpting and Painted Hardcopy for Micro Luke Figure: This is the original wax sculpting of one of my favorite Micro Collection figures: the Luke from the Death Star Escape playset. It's a 4-up, meaning it was sculpted at four times the intended production scale, and it's composed entirely of wax, sculpted over a wire armature.

If Brennan's simply having the original sculpting for this piece wasn't enough to impress you, check this last photo out. It shows the wax beside a painted hardcopy, or a urethane duplicate of the wax made using a silicone mold. A painted production figure is also included in order to illustrate the blown-up scale of the prototypes.
