I think it can be said with a good degree of certainty that no film series has generated the amount of artwork that Star Wars has. From poster art; to publishing art used on magazines, books and comics; to elaborate advertising and promotional artwork; to commercial-oriented artwork used on an incredibly diverse range of commercial products, the Star Wars series has become synonymous with the artwork that has grown up around it. For collectors, original Artwork represents one of the few hobby genres in which the items being collected are genuine, one-of-a-kind originals. Much of what you see here is treasured by its owners, not only beacuse it is an original piece of craftsmanship, but because it served as the basis for an image that eventually was immortalized in the realms of mass-media and commerce.
